X-C Ski Plans for New Year's Eve

As we shoveled (again) this morning and then read the weather forecast, Greg has decided to hold off until tomorrow (Monday) to groom again.
The group who skied on Saturday has voted to ski again on New Year's Eve. Many of them have begun coming up while it's yet daylight to get in bigger loops. Mason's even brought up a campstove and chili for supper! The fire will be going. We bantered about bringing up a mini-potluck. There's even rumors of fondue.
The lanterns will be lit from 5:30-8:30. The guitar music with Ann and Peter Mason and Mike Powell was so awesome last night!! The skiing continues to be like skiing on silk. If you haven't been out on the course yet, dust off those skis and "Come on down!!" or is it up?? : )
Mark Mason has also told us that there will be a lunar eclipse on February 20 so we will plan (weather willing) to have a night ski that Wednesday night -- so mark your calendars!
