Two Libby residents were found dead from gunshot wounds, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff.
The two bodies were found Friday morning about 2:00 am Friday morning, December 28, in a State of Montana owned Highway Department maintenance shop south of Libby on U.S. Highway 2.
The bodies have been identified as Robert Plough, 49, and Louise Plough, 54.
It is assumed that shootings occurred sometime late Thursday night.
According to the Sheriff's office it is thought to be a murder-suicide. No motive is known, and the shooter has not been determined.
The Coroner's report is pending. The deaths remain under the investigation of the Lincoln County Sheriff.
