December 16, 2007 If you enjoy playing in the snow, the Weather Service is forecasting more of it for the coming week. Turner Mountain should be opening soon (skiturner.com), and smaller area lakes are starting to freeze over for ice fishing. Cross-country skiing and snowmobiling opportunities abound. And don't forget the Polar Bear Club meets every Sunday for a dip in Libby Creek (visitors/spectators welcome). Winter recreation in northwest Montana is upon us! |
