Polar Bear New Year's Plunge Dec. 30 Plunge to bring in 2008! December 20, 2007 The annual Polar Bear Club New Year’s Plunge will be held on Sunday, December 30th. It will be at 2:00 PM at Libby Creek on the Farm to Market Road. “We are hoping for a large turn out if the weather doesn't get too cold for the spectators,” said Club President, Rick Klin, “Polar Bear Rick”. The public is welcome to come, just to watch the fun, or for the brave to join in and take a dip! The club will furnish donuts and cookies and have a nice fire to keep people warm.
