Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials said training sessions for snowmobile safety instructors and trail groomers are set for Dec. 1-2 in Libby, at the Lincoln County Campus, beginning at 10 a.m.
A one-day workshop on Dec. 1 for trail groomers is required for all new operators of state-owned snowmobile trail groomers. A two-day workshop for snowmobile safety instructors will train and certify participants to teach the Montana snowmobile safety class. Class instructors, who must be recertified every two years, may attend this workshop for recertification.
