Heavy Snow Warning Now in Effect

(Missoula) - The National Weather Service in Missoula has now issued a heavy snow warning in effect from 9:00 p.m. Monday evening to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday above 3500 feet.
New snowfall accumulations of 5 to 11 inches can be expected from late tonight through Tuesday afternoon above 3500 feet. Locations below 3500 feet could see new snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches.
A heavy snow warning means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous.
Travelers are advised to be prepared for snow-covered roads and limited visibilities. Use caution while driving.
