Yaak Wilderness Festival July28 July 25, 2007 The 4th annual Yaak Wilderness Festival will be held on Saturday, July 28th at the Dirty Shame Saloon. There will be live music beginning at 1:00 PM by bands Live Wire Choir, Sol Jibe, the Sheldon Mountain Boys and Alan Lane. Several items will be raffled off during the day, including a Perception Kayak. Craft vendors and food will be available, as well as free activities for kids. Everyone is invited and welcome. Admission for adults is $20 on the day of the event. Students 13-18 are $15. Children under age 12 are free. Proceeds from the event go to the Yaak Valley Forest Council and their efforts at education and community outreach programs. The Dirty Shame Saloon is located 30 miles north of Highway 2, on Highway 508, in Yaak, north of Troy. Carpooling is recommended.
