McGregor Lake Access Fuels Reduction Project

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP), Region One, has completed an environmental assessment (EA) for McGregor Lake FAS in Flathead County (T26N, R26W, S1 and T26N, R25W, S9) for the purpose of a fuels reduction project.

Following a 30-day public review, Alternative D, to treat both Units 1 & 2 as set forth in the draft EA, was found to be the preferred alternative. There were no changes to the draft EA; therefore, the draft becomes the final EA. Copies of the decision notice are available at FWP headquarters, 490 N Meridian, Kalispell; Montana State Library, 1515 E 6th Ave., Helena; Flathead County Library, 247 First Ave. E, Kalispell; and the FWP web site at fwp.mt.gov.
