Libby School Board election May 8
At Asa Wood School
May 5, 2007
Voters will be filling two three-years term Board of Trustees seats. Jim England, long time board member, has chosen not to run for re-election. Jerry Frament, who is a former board member, and Tracy Comeau were appointed to fill vacant seats, and must now run for election to keep them. However, since Frament is the only candidate running for the two-year term, he will retain his seat. He was re-appointed to the Board last month for that seat by a board vote of acclamation.
Comeau, just recently appointed in February, to replace Melanie Wood, who resigned, will run for one of the two three year terms against candidates John Hermann, and Jeff Forster. Voters will pick two of the three candidates; incumbent Comeau, former school board member Jon Herman, and newcomer Jeff Forster.
Polls will be open 8am to 8pm, Tuesday, May 8th.
