Snow Advisory
February 8, 2007
A Snow Advisory is in effect until 5:00 pm Thursday, February 8, according to the National Weather Service. The advisory is for the Kootenai/Cabinet region, the Flathead/Mission Valley, and the Potomac/Seeley Lake region. Two to five inches of snow are expected with this storm by Thursday afternoon.
Local northeasterly winds of 10-15 miles per hour, with gusts of up to 25 mph, could cause local blowing and drifting snow.
A snow advisory means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities and use caution while driving.
