Asa Wood Elementary School students raise $1000 for AHA

Asa Wood Elementary School and St. John’s Lutheran Hospital teamed up with 40 jump-roping elementary students to celebrate the annual American Heart Association’s Jump Rope for Heart event held on Valentine’s Day at Asa Wood Elementary School. In addition to having fun while promoting physical activity, the forty elementary students raised $1,000.00 for the American Heart Association.
