2007 New Year's Polar Bear Plunge

The Libby Polar Bear Club hosted its 2007 New Year plunge on New Year's Eve. There were 22 who took a dip in Libby Creek, with 77 spectators cheering them on. Plungers came from as far away as Missoula and even Louisiana (what a story this will make!). Six of the 22 were taking a plunge for the first time. The weather was cold, but not un-bear-able, and the mood festive. Thanks, Polar Bears, for the amazing entertainment!
