Libby Main Street Program meeting Jan. 29

The Libby Main Street Program and the City of Libby have scheduled a public meeting next Monday, January 29, at 6:00 p.m. at the First National Bank Community Room located at 504 Mineral Avenue. The City and Libby Revitalization will be meeting at 7:00 a.m. to discuss subjects regarding the public meeting that night.
The purpose of the evening meeting is to gather information, input and comments from downtown property owners, and other interested parties, pertaining to the revised Streetscape Plan proposed by Libby Revitalization-Libby Main Street Program. The possibility of contracting with an engineering firm to begin the process will be discussed. The prices tag? About $95,000. The Streetscape project has been scaled back from seven million dollars to about three million.
Key speakers and others involved in the project will be available to answer questions or discuss concerns. The public is invited to attend and public comment will be taken.
