New Year's Eve Polar Bear Plunge
December 31, 2006

The Libby Polar Bear Club celebrated the new year with a plunge in Libby Creek Sunday afternoon. About 75 spectators watched as about 20 swimmers took the plunge in 34 degree water. The mood was festive, with the polar bears providing doughnuts, hot chocolate and cider, a hot fire and entertainment for all. Happy New Year!
