Heavy Snow Warning until Thursday
3-6 inches new snow possible

The National Weather Service out of Missoula has issued a Heavy Snow Warning for the Kootenai Cabinet Region until 2:00 pm Thursday, November 30. Total snow accumulations of from 3 to 6 inches are possible. A weather system is approaching the Canadian coast and will move through the northern Rockies late Wednesday night and Thursday. This system has considerable moisture associated with it. Accumulating snow will begin across northwest Montana and northern Clearwater Mountains tonight, spreading south across west-central Montana early Thursday morning. Steady snow will transition to snow showers into Thursday night.
Travelers are advised to be prepared for snow-covered roads and limited visibilities. Use caution while driving.
