Fur Trade Demonstrations Sept. 8

There will be a fur trade demonstration at Fireman’s Park on Friday, September 8, at 1:30 pm. Jim Mee and Bob Malyevac will demonstrate how the Forest Service David Thompson trunk is used in the classroom. Fur trade historians Mark and Charlotte Morain, and Kim Koening, will provide “hands on” demonstration of a fur trade camp. The public is invited to attend and participate.
