deCycles visit Libby
by Maggie Craig
July 13, 2006
A group of bicyclists with deCycles from Bloomington, Indiana, head toward Libby Thursday afternoon after spending the night in Kalispell. deCycles is a nonprofit youth development program offering summer bicycle trips for teens and young adults. It's a 3-week, 1500 mile yearly adventure. This year's trip began in Seattle on June 24, with a tour through the Canadian Rockies and Glacier National Park, and then through Kalispell and Libby. Libby provided an overnight stay Thursday night at the Kootenai Valley Church of Christ. The group of 75 is headed back to Seattle for their airline connections to Indiana on Monday. For more information about deCycles, visit their web site at www.geocities.com/decyclesindiana/index.html.
