Troy Volunteer Ambulance seeks new EMT members
July 20, 2006

Troy Volunteer Ambulance is looking for new people to help provide EMT services to the Troy area community. Emergency services are provided by volunteers, members of the community who live and work in the area.

These dedicated people are on call and available to work 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, helping their neighbors in need at a moment's notice. Job title is EMT/Counselor/Caregiver/Livesaver.

It takes a special person to do this much-needed job as a volunteer to serve the community. "Must show Courage, Strength, bravery, Diplomacy and Good Judgement," states the Help Wanted ad. "Pay rate is as much as you can take away in your heart!" Applicants must be, "willing to sit in a class room after working all day, get out of bed at any hour of the night, get dressed, and be at the barn as quickly as possible."

EMT classes start September 5th.

Anyone interested in starting out on the Ride Along program, or to register for class, please call Roger Gilligan at 406-295-6505.
