Ross Creek Trail closed due to fire

(Troy) As a precautionary measure for the Little Spar Lake Fire, the Kootenai Forest Supervisor has decided to close Ross Creek Trail #142 above the Ross Creek cedars, as of today, July 28. This closure will remain in effect until further notice.

The Ross Creek Cedars Interpretive Trail in the cedar grove remains open, however.

The single, overriding priority is the protection of human life – both that of firefighters and the public. Safety comes first, every time.
