Kootenai River Rodeo July 28 & 29

The Kootenai River Rodeo will be held on Friday and Saturday, July 28 & 29th in Libby. Hosted by the Libby Area Chamber of Commerce, the event is fun for the whole family.
New this year is a Little Buckaroo Rodeo for the kids featuring a Sheep Roundup, Mutton Bustin’ and Little Buck steer-riding rodeo.
This is a PCA Rodeo featuring bull riding, saddle bronc, bareback, team roping, tie down, steer wrestling and women’s barrel racing. Crowning of the Rodeo Queen will be on Friday, July 28th at 6:30 pm at the arena at J. Neils Memorial Park.
There will be vendors, food booths, entertainment, autograph sessions with rodeo participants and music. Rodeo begins at 7:30 pm on both days.
Daily tickets are $8/person per day in advance or $10/person at the gate. Children 6 and under free. Gates open at 4:00 pm. Tickets may be purchased at the Chamber, Timberline Auto, and Homesteader’s Ranch & Feed Supply in Libby and Trojan Lanes in Troy.
To sign kids up for the Little Buckaroo Rodeo, register at the Chamber office prior to the rodeo. The Chamber is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm and on Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm.
