‘Service That Sells’ Seminar May 18
May 9, 2006
Travel Montana and the Lincoln County Campus of Flathead Valley Community College are sponsoring a seminar for local area businesses on how to provide better service to customers.
The seminar program, "Service that Sells", emphasizes the importance of connecting with customers to provide a service, solve a problem or fill a need. Highlights from the program agenda include serving customers as unique individuals, selling as communication, professionalism and pride, understanding communication styles, teamwork with coworkers, and earning repeat customers by connecting those customers with what they are searching for or expecting. In addition, participants will increase their familiarity with the local community and learn how to use local, regional and state travel resources in order to inform customers about unknown opportunities that exist in the area.
All participants are encouraged to bring brochures and information about their business or organizations to share with other participants.
The trainer for this "Service that Sells" seminar will be Lisa Jones, a popular Montana speaker and trainer. Jones has an extensive background in public relations, marketing and customer service with over 20 years experience in the tourism industry. She is focused on bringing business owners concrete information and ideas applicable to their specific organization and community to take away and implement immediately.
Pre-register for the seminar by calling 406-293-2721. Participants are being offered a registration fee of $20 chamber member discount price of $15 per participant. Retired community volunteers attend free of charge as a thank you for their contributions to the community.
