Libby Archery Club Archery Shoots

The Libby Archery Club will be hosting several 3-D Archery Shoots this summer. These are fun events for the whole family. In addition to these two-day weekend 3-D shoots, the archery club has many events scheduled over the summer with other archery clubs.
May 6-7: 10th Annual Traditional Shoot – Fawn Creek Campground
This will be a traditional shoot for recurves and longbows. No compounds allowed. There will be 45 3-D targets on three courses. This is a family event with categories for adults (men’s and women’s), youth and cubs. Participants may enter for one or both days. Concessions will be available and vendors are welcome. There will be prizes awarded and top shooters will be flighted on Sunday for trophies. This event will be at Fawn Creek Campground, located on the Fisher River Road east of Libby on the way to Libby Dam. This is a private campground. No drinking water is available, so campers must bring their own. Also, no campfires are allowed. No alcohol or smoking will be allowed on the course. June 3-4: Pipe Creek Shootout – Timberlane Campground
There will be forty 3-D targets each day. This is a family event, so kids of all ages are welcome (with adult supervision). There will be two $100 money targets on Saturday. Top shooters will be flighted Sunday for trophies. There will also be Kids Fun Shoot with kid’s prizes. Trophy Classes are OPEN (Release & Moveable Sight), FREESTYLE (Release & Fixed Sight), FREESTYLE LTD (Fingers & Any Sight), BAREBOW (Fingers & No Sight) and TRADITIONAL (Recurve and Longbow).
