Libby hosts Big Bucks Baseball Tourney June 16-18
Libby Loggers to host 2007 State Baseball Tournament

The Libby Loggers will be hosting the 2nd annual 2006 "BIG BUCK$" baseball tournament June 16-18th at Lee Gehring Field in Libby.
Teams already scheduled to play include the Eagle Vipers from Eagle, Idaho; the Fort Macleod Royals from Fort Macleod, Alberta, Canada; the Mt. Spokane Wild and North Central AA, from Spokane, Washington; and the South Hill Stingers from Puyallup, Washington.
There will be round robin and pool play the days. On the final day, teams will play according to win-loss record. The First Place team will go home with $500 prize. Second Place will take home $300; Third Place team wins $100. Libby will play at 6 and 8 PM on Friday and Saturday.

The Libby Loggers will also be hosting the 2007 Class "A" American Legion Baseball State Tournment the last week in July. This will be the first time the State tourney has been held in Libby. Eight teams will compete in the championship.
Fans and enthusiasts can watch home games in May, June and July at Libby’s Lee Gehring Field. The Loggers are an American Legion affiliated baseball team.
