The American Heart Association wants you to know that heart disease is the number one killer of U.S. women, claiming about 500,000 lives every year. That's more than cancer, diabetes and Alzheimer's disease combined. St. John's Lutheran Hospital is recognizing National Wear Red Day, February 3, by asking residents of Libby and Troy to wear red to "Show Your Heart," a campaign to draw attention to women's heart disease. To participate, all you have to do is wear red...and educate yourself about heart health.
