by Maggie Craig October 30, 2005 The Libby Polar Bear Club opened its season Sunday with a dip in Libby Creek. Water temperature was 46 degrees, 2 degrees warmer than usual for this time of year, according to Polar Bear Rick Klin. Three adult Polar Bears and a brave 8-year-old kicked off the season at the Farm-to-Market bridge. The Polar Bears meet weekly on Sundays at 2:00 p.m. from now until the end of April.
