Cooler temperatures on the way
As much as 15-20 degree drop
August 29, 2005
The National Weather Service is advising gardeners to prepare for a significant change in the weather in the next couple of days as a passing cold front causes temperatures to drop by Tuesday in western Montana and north central Idaho. Gardeners should prepare for the possibility of frost Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning.
Temperatures as much as 15-20 degrees colder than what we enjoyed over the weekend are expected, with the possibility of near record lows by Wednesday morning in valley locations. Warm air will begin to move in from the west by Wednesday afternoon moderating temperatures.
