STOKR - Saturday

STOKR weekend kicked off today with 350 registered riders participating in the biggest-ever Scenic Tour of the Kootenai River, a fund-raiser for the local Habitat for Humanity chapter. The weather was mostly cooperative, with cooler weather helping the long-distance riders, although a light morning sprinkle and an afternoon rain squall made sure that jackets were kept handy. The food stops, as always, were a hit; especially the famous pie stop along Pipe Creek. Huckleberry pie seemed to be the favorite request...definitely a local treat. The riders seemed to be having a good ride and a good time. Thank you, STOKR riders, for making this event such a success.
