June 1 Hunting Application Deadline

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials remind hunters that June 1 is the deadline to submit applications for deer B, elk A-9, and antelope licenses and special deer or elk permits.

Big game hunters can submit an application by:
* using the new Online Licensing Internet service at fwp.mt.gov under Hunting or go to www.discoveringmontana.com under Online Services;
* visiting an FWP regional office where a completed application can be entered into the Automated Licensing System;
* mailing in a paper application.

To use the online licensing option, applicants need to enter their ALS number exactly as it appears on a recent ALS license. You will also need a MasterCard or Visa credit card. A convenience fee of $1.25 plus two percent of your purchase price will be added to the total purchase price. Online applicants receive immediate confirmation that an application has been received and entered into the drawing.

Paper applications are available from FWP regional offices, license providers, and online on FWP website at fwp.mt.gov under Obtain A License.
