Wayne Demoranville's carving Danny Thomas Chainsaw Carving Championship - Saturday September 25, 2017 The chainsaw carving championship continued Saturday, September 16, under considerably better air quality conditions. Blue sky and clear air showcased Libby as the beautiful place it is. Work continued on the carvers' exhibition pieces as well as another quick carve item to auction. The auction got underway at 3:00 p.m. to an appreciative audience. What these carvers can accomplish in an hour and a half is nothing short of amazing.
