The EPA asbestos cleanup of the Cabinet View Country Club Gold Course front nine has begun. Front nine tee boxes and greens are to be cleaned by the EPA and then replaced by a golf course architect.
The new back nine and the driving range will remain open daily. A temporary club house is located at the corner of Cabinet Heights and Cabinet View Road. Cart rentals remain available, and a full beverage list, cold sandwiches, and snacks are still available.
The front nine will reopen sometime in 2010. The exact date is still to be determined, according to Cabinet View Golf Pro, Jeff Dooley. ______________________________
