Scenic Libby - Photo Gallery
August 19, 2005
There is some mighty pretty scenery in the northwest corner of Montana around Libby.
This is remote country covered with dense forest, deep canyons and beautiful tumbling mountain streams. Much of the terrain is public land that remains undeveloped and extremely scenic. Visitors don’t have to strap on a backpack and hike deep into the woods for hours to find breathtaking vistas. You can get in your vehicle and point it in pretty much any direction from Libby and find awesome scenery the chance to see wildlife.
Here are pictures from a driving tour in mid-August around Libby, along the Kootenai River between Libby and Troy, the Yaak and Bull River areas.
